The Adopted Son is a devotional ministry built for people who grew up surviving instead of being loved. It was written for the person who knows all the right theology but still feels far from God, for the one who goes through the motions of faith but can't shake the sense that something is fundamentally wrong with them. For anyone carrying the quiet weight of a father who left, a childhood that cost too much, or a shame so familiar it feels like identity.
About
A place to meet the Father, not perform for him.
Most church content assumes you already feel safe. It assumes you know, somewhere down in your bones, that you are wanted. The Adopted Son starts further back, in the places where that trust was broken and never quite rebuilt. It goes slow on purpose. It doesn't try to fix you in five steps or resolve your pain into a tidy lesson.
The writing is honest about what it actually costs to heal, and what it means to be seen by a Father who doesn't leave. Each devotional is an invitation to stop performing, stop surviving, and begin, slowly, learning what it means to actually belong.
